BLITZ
This single release follows hot on the heels of the ‘Welcome To The Rock Show’ EP and picks up where that excellent set finished. Both 'Rock Me Through The Night' and the b-side (is there still such a thing these days?), 'I Believe', are hard hitting and pack a pretty heavy punch, while managing to be tuneful, melodic and hook laden. Slightly reminiscent of many of the giants of the heavy rock genre (KISS and Def Leppard spring immediately to mind), Blitz are original enough to have created their own distinct sound and have pulled off the enviable trick of cramming their songs with all the elements needed for a classic rock track without once sounding clichéd.
