I love electro music. Laurent Garnier is a certifiable genius, and I have endlessly tried to emulate his sound (along with Brian Eno's) in my own electro projects. 'History of Guns' then is an electro band who seem to draw on a very European Dance sound. And they're pretty piss-poor too. Opener 'When You Don't Matter' is a plodding exercise in how to write bad tunes. Often out of tune, and always incredibly boring, I have to wonder if the band are taking the piss, or if they're really just shit. But then 'Slice up Your Wife', a 'hilarious' cover of The Spice Girls proves it. They're just shit. In fact, I'm even bored about writing about them, so...
