In Search of Fire have released their debut EP ‘Serotonin Storm’ and fans of Muse or Oasis will find a familiar and enjoyable sound but with a refreshing twist on the style. The band consists of Andy Malet (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Anthony Vandongen (Rhythm Guitar), Connor O’Connell (Bass) and Rob Dowsett (Drums, Backing Cocals), and they’ve been in the making since Anthony and Connor were in school but it wasn’t until they met Andy and brought in their old friend Rob that the band was truly formed. Since their formation they have wasted no time constructing their live sets with endless rehearsals and it truly shows as the six tracks they have released are finely crafted. From the fast paced and catchy opener of ‘Indie Rock n Roller’ to the steady and emotional finisher of ‘Moving On’, the EP is amazing to listen to. With a combination of great riffs, powerful rhythms and impressive vocals they have set the bar pretty high on their first venture and we will have to wait and see what heights they can reach in time.
