LIAR LIAR

The debut EP ‘He Said, She Said’ by the Yorkshire quartet Liar Liar consisting of Joe Daniels (Vocals, Guitars), Jack Dudill (Drums), Liam Bates (Bass Guitar, Vocals) and Jake Lawton (Guitars) is a highly energetic and catchy set of songs. With similarities to Blink 182’s fast paced and energy filled instrumentals, accompanied with melody packed choruses, this creates a combination that is hard to resist. Opening with ‘Heart Attack’ which instantly gets inside your head and is hard to shake due to its pulse pounding pace and catchy tunes, ‘High N’ Low’ follows up with much the same formula. All of the songs have the feel that they need to be chanted by the masses; they are songs that when listened to solo make you want to be surrounded by others singing along. I totally enjoyed this EP and having only fours songs has left me wanting more. I would love to see them play live to a large crowd as I can imagine the atmosphere would be amazing.
