PANDEMONIUM

The accompanying press pack states that the two tracks on this promo are “unofficial versions” – not quite sure what that could mean – and, along with the overly generous accompanying videos, are tasters of what to expect from their forthcoming album, ‘Misanthropy’. Brutal, atmospheric, abundant in inhuman, razor-gargling, maniacal vocals, tremolo-picked riffs, diminished arpeggios, and relentless skin pounding, ‘Misanthropy’ could be no more apt a title. Black metal with an unhealthy dose of death metal thrown in to the mix, if ‘Black Forest’ is an indication of what’s to come, the album will have many an extreme fan drowning in their own blackened bile, as will the unremitting attack of ‘God Delusion’. Assuming that these are demos, if the album is even half this good, it will be worth checking out. And judging from the live footage, Pandemonium will send shivers through the underground.
